Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are between you and 8typical, 133 NE Michael Drive, Burleson, TX 76028, which operates Job Sweet Job. Using the service means you accept them.

What Job Sweet Job does

We search for jobs matching the titles and locations you give us, score them against your résumé, and generate tailored résumés, cover letters, and analyses. What is included at each plan level is set out on our pricing page, which is the authoritative statement of what you are buying.

Your account

You must be 18 or older. Give us accurate information and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person.

Payment

Subscriptions bill monthly in advance and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time through your account, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. One-time purchases are charged when you buy them. A three-month membership is one payment for three months of access: it does not renew, and it is not refundable once the term has started.

Prices are in US dollars and can change. If we change the price of a subscription you already hold, we will tell you before it applies to you.

Refunds. If something we sold you did not work, tell us and we will make it right — that has been our practice and it is not changing. We are not able to refund a subscription period simply because it went unused.

Your résumé and your documents

Your content stays yours. Your résumé, your profile, and anything you write remain yours.

You give us permission to process that content to provide the service — which includes sending it to the providers listed at jobsweetjob.com/subprocessor. That permission exists so the product can work, and it ends when you delete your content or your account.

The documents we generate are yours to use however you like. Send them to employers, edit them, keep them after you cancel.

What the AI produces, and what you have to do with it

Every document we generate is a draft you are responsible for checking before you send it. The AI can be wrong. It can misread a job posting, misjudge a fit, or phrase something in a way you would not.

We commit that it will not add a skill, employer, credential, certification, or schedule that was not in what you gave us — see how the AI works for how we enforce that. But the final document goes out under your name, and the responsibility for its accuracy is yours.

What we do not promise

We do not guarantee you a job, an interview, or any hiring outcome. No one honestly can.

Job listings come from third-party sources. They can be incomplete, out of date, duplicated, or already filled. Fit scores are estimates of alignment, not predictions.

The service is provided as-is. We do not warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Acceptable use

Do not use Job Sweet Job to misrepresent your qualifications. Do not upload anyone else's résumé without their permission. Do not attempt to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service. Do not resell it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost employment opportunities.

Some states do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.

Ending it

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we will tell you why. If we discontinue the service, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to take your documents with you.

Your documents remain available to you while your account exists. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data on deletion.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date and version above will change, and for a material change we will email you before it applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Tarrant County, Texas.
